DVDs in DVD Jackets - these are great choices for titles; they are cost -effective, extremely customizable, and lend themselves to special printing effects. Look below for popular options for printed jackets; 2 panel minijackets, 4 panel jacket wallets, 6 & 8 panel DVD folders, Easily modified for multi-disc dvd sets too ( 2 disc - 4 disc are common). A good choice for independent film distribution, business promo's, and dvd-rom games (see software boxes!)

Paper stock options include our standard stock, Truly Eco, or Fiberboard. Our standard paper stock is white coated and contains 20-30% recycled content . We can also do this stock uncoated. Truly Eco is our special eco-friendly stock and is a softer paper stock with a very high post consumer waste percentage (70-80%). Fiberboard stock is unbleached, end of chain pulp material- brownish in color and with a nubby texture.

Special Effects printing options include spot UV gloss, matte and glossy lamination, hot foil stamping, embossing & debossing raised or lowered relief, and special die cut designs and slipcases.

We love custom dvd packaging! We have a large variety of die cuts we have made for clients, or we can create a new one for you. Fun options include foam hubs, tube pockets, slot pockets, LP style, extra pockets or hubs to hold more discs or literature, paper trays (100% recycled paper, compressed with cork hub) and foam trays, diagonal literature pockets, business card slots, custom modified thumbholes, knockouts and cut out windows, etc.

DVD replication (these are manufactured, glass master/pressed) includes 5C offset printed discs (or silkscreened if better suited to art) and a test disc so you can verify your playability on a pressed disc and disc artwork on the disc itself.

Instructions: To build your package, choose quantity, disc, packaging, and assembly. Your final product can be modified to add extra discs, customized with special printing effects, modify packaging style, add booklets, etc. Feel free to use Project Notes below for clarification or if you get stuck.

Discs
Includes the manufacturing of pressed discs & disc printing.

Pressed discs- injection molding, (i.e., substrate is poured out into mold), metal layer with data is formed with metal stamper (made from glass master made from client master).

Recordable DVD-Rs are made with a special layer that allows you to write the content.
You may want to use DVD-Rs if you have a special need like frequently changing data.

Mini DVDs are 8cm round DVD5s.

Clear Substrate Discs - uses a mini disc mask with clear substrate out to the edges. Data Size will be small, physical size the same as a standard full size dvd.

Disc Manufacturing
Includes the manufacturing / data replication / pressing of discs from your supplied master.

Disc Printing
Up to 5-color offset from your art file (film production included). If you're not familiar with this, 5C is full color (many replicators allow only 3C in the price) and Offset Printing is the highest quality (gorgeous picture discs, almost always an extra charge - it's free here, part of our way of making sure these are WOW discs.)

Proof discs
Provided (pressed & printed) for your approval. We set up the press and manufacture & print your proof disc. It is the only way to make absolutely certain that it's perfect. We'll send to you for approval.
