EcoFriendly Paper Stocks-
Megalodon's Standard Stock (higher than most replicator's eco stock!) : 20-30% recycled content, white coated
Megalodon's Truly Eco 70-80% recycled content, high post consumer waster percentage
Both percentages available coated or uncoated for matte look. The higher the recycled percentage the softer the stock is. Printing is 4C, available with soy ink printing.
Fiberboard stock using unbleached end of chain pulp material, from 1C to 4C (with special options for white printing - 5C) gives a very natural pigment dyed look. See our special page on spot white ink on fiberboard packaging, setup and examples.

Unique dies
Many die styles are available. We encourage clients to customize packaging and go beyond the standard die. Let us know what you are visualizing and we may already have a die for it, or we can create one just for you.
Some unique ways to hold the disc:
All natural paper tray (100% recycled paper, compressed, cork hub)
Foam hubs, foam trays, and a large variety of pocket styles (curved, tube, slot, thumbhole, LP style, etc).

DVD Replication with Eco-Friendly DVD Packaging - Recycled Content or Fiberboard - Build a Package

Instructions: To build your package, choose quantity, disc, packaging, and assembly. Your final product can be modified to add extra discs, customized with special printing effects, modify packaging style, add booklets, etc. Feel free to use Project Notes below for clarification or if you get stuck.

Discs
Includes the manufacturing of pressed discs & disc printing.

Pressed discs- injection molding, (i.e., substrate is poured out into mold), metal layer with data is formed with metal stamper (made from glass master made from client master).

Recordable DVD-Rs are made with a special layer that allows you to write the content.
You may want to use DVD-Rs if you have a special need like frequently changing data.

Mini DVDs are 8cm round DVD5s.

Clear Substrate Discs - uses a mini disc mask with clear substrate out to the edges. Data Size will be small, physical size the same as a standard full size dvd.

Disc Manufacturing
Includes the manufacturing / data replication / pressing of discs from your supplied master.

Disc Printing
Up to 5-color offset from your art file (film production included). If you're not familiar with this, 5C is full color (many replicators allow only 3C in the price) and Offset Printing is the highest quality (gorgeous picture discs, almost always an extra charge - it's free here, part of our way of making sure these are WOW discs.)

Proof discs
Provided (pressed & printed) for your approval. We set up the press and manufacture & print your proof disc. It is the only way to make absolutely certain that it's perfect. We'll send to you for approval.
